Patrick Cartmel is a Seattle-based digital media and advertising executive with over 20 years of experience in retail media, customer success, and sales leadership. He has been at the forefront of the retail media industry, playing key roles at two landmark startups: HookLogic, where he led retail media sales before its $250M acquisition by Criteo, and Symbiosys, where he helped grow the business before its acquisition by DoorDash. He currently serves as Director of Advertising Strategy & Operations for Global Media Agencies at DoorDash.
Earlier in his career, Patrick was part of the team at aQuantive's Atlas, the pioneering ad tech platform that was eventually acquired by Microsoft and later by Meta. He went on to lead digital media strategy at WPP's GroupM, where he founded the GroupM Seattle office and served major clients including Microsoft, AT&T, and Amazon.
Patrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has been published in outlets such as AdExchanger and ClickZ.
