Tara Walpert Levy is a seasoned global technology and media executive. She currently leads the Americas for YouTube and is also responsible for scaled creator development worldwide. Tara previously led Google’s Agency and Brand Solutions teams where she was responsible for over $25B in revenue from the third-party ecosystem across 14 countries. Tara came to Google in 2011 to lead Ads Marketing worldwide.
Prior to Google, Tara was the President of Visible World (acquired by Comcast NBCU), building the technology infrastructure and SaaS company into the leading addressable TV platform. She was also a leader of the Global Media & Entertainment and Sales & Marketing practices at McKinsey & Company.
Tara has over a decade of public board service, navigating technology transformation through Braze, a SaaS marketing customer engagement company, and multiple CEOs and activists through Bloomin Brands.. She is committed to giving back to the industry and is the past Chair of the Board of the Ad Council, the American Advertising Federation (AAF), and Next Gen Board Leaders. She is also a member of the Board of the John Reisenbach Foundation.
Tara writes and speaks frequently on the shifting marketing, media, and technology landscape and the evolving responsibility and impact of private and public boards. She has been inducted into the AAF Advertising Hall of Achievement, identified as a dMexco Global Trailblazer, and named one of Fast Company's “Most Creative People in Business.”
Tara is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School. She lives in New York City with her husband and three children.
