As a strategic, creative, digital and global brand marketing executive of 18 years, Shannon understands the key to success and transformation lies in the shift to a data/insight-driven, purpose and consumer-led approach. Shannon combines deep experience leading teams on all sides of consumer engagement businesses and her ability to architect the impact of storytelling at the intersection of behavioral/contextual data, entertainment, distribution, tech with a focus on measurable ROI performance commerce to every role and engagement.
As CMO of The Honest Company, Shannon oversees brand, retail, direct-to-consumer, marketing communications, content and creative teams and is responsible for bringing the mission of The Honest Company to life globally. Across it’s 100 plus delightful products in baby, beauty, home and personal care, Shannon works with her team to deliver consumer-led strategies through omni-channel experiences.
In her prior roles of 6 years within the Dentsu Aegis Network, as both Chief Content Officer at Carat, and founding member and President of The Story Lab, she led the agency to develop products and services that leveraged data & insights in order to craft strategic, purposeful, relevant and personalized omni-channel experiences for the consumers that were most valuable to her Fortune 100 brand clients, including GM, XBox, Intel, Fox, Microsoft, Mondelez, MasterCard, Pfizer, Macy’s, among others. She has been recognized as a 2018 Adweek LA Brand All Star, 2016 The Drum’s Women Out West, named a 2016 Southern California Adweek AllStar and serves as the jury Chair for the 2016/2017/2018/2019 Adweek Brand Storytelling Awards.
She scaled creative, commercial marketing and Biz Dev teams at entertainment powerhouses 19 Entertainment, Mark Burnett Productions, FremantleMedia and Warner Bros.
Prior she worked in advertising at MasterCard International and World Cup at Octagon Marketing and speaks Japanese. She is also a proud mother of 3 children.
