Charlene Charles is the Head of Operations for Dollar General Media Network (DGMN), bringing over 17 years of consumer-centric expertise across brands, retailers, and vendors. Since joining Dollar General in November 2021, she has driven operational excellence and innovation within the rapidly evolving Retail Media Network (RMN) space.

Charlene’s diverse career spans ad tech, sales, product development, marketing, consulting, commercialization, strategic planning, shopper marketing, P&L management, measurement, insights, and talent development. Before Dollar General, she served as Director of Commercial Operations at Roundel, where she established the commercialization discipline for Target’s RMN. She also contributed to the success of tech startup Yieldbot and founded her own consulting practice, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit.

Her career began with leadership roles at General Mills and Kraft Heinz, where she gained foundational experience in CPG marketing and sales.
