Elisabeth Rommel leads seller growth, business development, strategy, marketing, and operations for eBay Advertising, a $1.6B eCommerce advertising business. Under her leadership, eBay Advertising has launched three new advertising products, expanding the suite of solutions to help brands and sellers achieve their business goals through attracting and retaining customers. Additionally, Elisabeth has spearheaded the introduction of tailored advertising offerings for Affinity brands and opportunities for brands to support authorized resellers, further expanding the suite of solutions to help sellers and brands achieve their business goals and drive success.
Her global team is responsible for driving both eBay GMV and Advertising Revenue across North America, Europe, and APAC; partnering closely with market business leaders on key initiatives. Elisabeth is the site leader for the eBay Seattle office, building culture and communities of inclusion, and giving time for several volunteer boards.
Prior to eBay, Elisabeth held leadership positions at Amazon and Google, including launching and growing Amazon’s display advertising and sponsored products businesses. She has worked closely with emerging and established brands to grow businesses online, and led product and engineering teams who delivered products and services to support marketing analytics and brand growth.
She began her career at Deloitte in San Francisco and worked in Finance at Marketwatch and Amazon before moving into business and technology leadership roles. Elisabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Santa Clara University, where she played on the D1 golf team and graduated with honors. She currently lives in Seattle, where there is never a dull moment with her active family and dogs.
