Chelsea Monaco serves as Senior Vice President, Commerce Media at Digitas, where she leads a multidisciplinary team of commerce experts spanning media, technology, creative, and analytics. With over 16 years of industry experience—including more than a decade focused on commerce media strategy for brands and retailers—Chelsea is passionate about driving growth and innovation in the rapidly evolving retail media landscape.
Her expertise covers both the buy- and sell-side of commerce. She has helped brands unlock opportunities across owned and operated channels, retail media networks, and commerce solutions, as well as advised retailers on go-to-market strategies, data monetization, and building best-in-class retail media networks.
Chelsea has spent her entire career agency-side, joining Digitas after 12 years at Merkle (a dentsu company), where she specialized in eRetail and commerce media strategy. She holds an MBA from the University of Dayton, where she also played Division I soccer.
Based in Pittsburgh, Chelsea enjoys time with her husband, two boys, and their dog when she’s not helping clients shape the future of commerce media.
